6.22 Refractory Inspector (Ref Div: OCC)

6.22.1 Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Ceramic / Civil Engineering with ten (10) years of experience in Oil & Gas field with experience in refractory inspection specific to RFCC process unit. Candidate shall have API 936 certification and proven experience in the following.

a) Refractory Inspection

b) Preparation of Refractory Inspection report with repair recommendation

c) Applicator and material pre-qualification

d) Quality Control of Refractory application

e) Final inspection of completed repairs

f) Preparation of Final Close out report

Person should be physically fit to enter confined spaces like catalyst stand pipe, Reactor, Regenerator, Cyclones to carry out Inspection/ Execution of work. He shall have confined space entry training and medical fitness certificate.

6.22.2 Primary Task

a) Inspecting the lined equipment and generating inspection reports in coordination with QatarEnergy representative

b) Applicator and material Prequalification

c) Monitoring / inspecting all new applications as per required Process licensor standard

d) Quality Control
