6.55 Instrument Supervisor (Projects) (Ref Div: OAE)

6.55.1 Qualifications and Experience.

The Instrument Supervisor shall have a diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics, have good command of English, both spoken and written, minimum ten (10) years multi-disciplinary work experience involving instrumentation works in Oil & Gas Industry with 5 years at Supervisory level. Knowledge & proven experience of supervising a team of technicians/contractors for instrument projects construction, installation and commissioning activities. The candidate should be able to read, interpret and use various instrumentation engineering drawings such as datasheet, loop drawings, hookup drawings, cable schedule, termination drawings etc. He should be familiar with the Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Candidates experience in calibration of instruments would be an added advantage.

6.55.2 Primary Tasks:

Daily Supervision of MOC/PCR works, inhouse Projects execution & troubleshooting during SD. Progress checking and gathering site update and reporting to QatarEnergy representative.
