6.54 Instrument Engineer (Projects) (Ref Div: OAE)

6.54.1 Qualifications and Experience

lnstrument Engineer shall have a degree in Instrument Engineering with minimum twelve (12) years of similar role experience in the instrumentation domain in oil & gas / petrochemical plants. He should be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing effectively. Knowledge & proven experience of supervising a team of technicians/contractors for instrument projects construction, installation, and commissioning activities. The candidate should be able to read, interpret and use various instrumentation engineering drawings such as datasheet, loop drawings, hookup drawings, cable schedule, termination drawings etc. He should be familiar with the Permit to Work (PTW) systems. He shall be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report preparations.

6.54.2 Primary Tasks:

Daily Supervision of MOC/PCR works, inhouse Projects execution & troubleshooting during SD. Progress checking and gathering site update and reporting to QatarEnergy representative.
