MANAGER PRUCHASE GREEN FIELD CORPORATE CONSTRUCTION, DB GROUP

Position : Manager Purchase/ full-time

Location : Based out of Bhopal (looking after projects at Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Faridabad)

Experience : Minimum 10 years demonstrable experience in the industry out of which at least 5 years of experience of managing purchase and procurement in greenfield corporate construction projects or corporate/commercial multi-storey structures with basements from start to finish.

Job Purpose:
The Dainik Bhaskar Group seeks an experienced and skilled purchase manager to primarily coordinate the purchases/ tender execution of green-field corporate building projects and project-based requirements for existing shopping malls/ hotels of the group.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement plan for Greenfield high-rise corporate block projects.
• Interface remotely with the Project Managers and site teams to understand material needs and resolve procurement challenges.
• Conduct virtual and on-site (if required) vendor assessments to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Float tenders for various construction contracts including civil, MEP, interior.
• Oversee procurement of construction raw materials, MEP components, landscaping/ hardscaping, interior finishes and such other procurements needed for project completion.
• Negotiate and finalize purchase contracts to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
• Monitor cost variations and maintain adherence to the approved procurement budget.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, vendor agreements, and contract terms.
• Maintain a detailed record of pricing, supplier performance, and payment schedules.
• Manage and maintain relationships with national & regional suppliers for bulk and project-specific purchases.
• Provide regular updates and reports on purchase status, supplier performance, and budget utilization.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
