Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase Manager with expertise in FMCG products, by-products, packaging materials, and factory-related purchases (Electrical & Mechanical items). The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to optimize procurement costs while ensuring quality and timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for FMCG products, by-products, packaging materials, and factory supplies (electrical & mechanical items).
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

2. Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and supply chain standards.
• Establish alternative supplier networks to mitigate risks.

3. Cost Optimization & Inventory Control:

• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives in procurement.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure procurement aligns with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain all purchase-related records, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Work closely with internal teams (production, quality, finance) to streamline purchasing operations.

5. Factory & Technical Procurement:

• Source and procure electrical and mechanical components essential for factory operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for timely availability of technical supplies.
• Ensure high-quality materials and spare parts for smooth factory functioning.

Key Requirements:

✔ Experience: Minimum 5 years in FMCG procurement (preferably in food, beverage, or personal care industries).
✔ Knowledge: Strong understanding of FMCG products, packaging materials, by-products, and factory-related purchases (electrical & mechanical items).
✔ Skills: Negotiation, supplier management, cost control, and data analysis.
✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ Availability: Must be able to join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP procurement modules.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in the FMCG industry.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
