Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Proactively identify and acquire new FMCG clients requiring business loans.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within FMCG companies.
- Understand client business needs and financial requirements to provide tailored loan solutions.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Sales Strategy Execution:
- Develop and execute field sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy by providing market insights and competitive analysis.
- Track and report on sales performance and key metrics.
Lead Generation:
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective FMCG clients through various channels, including market research, networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on potential and fit.
Product Promotion & Education:
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our business loan offerings to FMCG clients.
- Educate clients on loan products, terms, and application processes.
- Assist clients in selecting the most suitable loan options based on their individual needs.
Field Sales Activities:
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their business operations and financial needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate loan terms and close deals.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., credit, operations, legal) to ensure smooth loan processing and timely disbursement.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
Market Analysis & Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities within the FMCG sector.
- Provide market feedback to management to inform product development and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 7+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a demonstrable track record of success.
- Proven experience in selling financial products (preferably business loans) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG sector and its unique business dynamics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
