Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Accounts Manager with a background in FinTech, Banking, or Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) to join our team.
- The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and grow a portfolio of Business Loan clients, focusing on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SME lending space, strong relationship management skills, and a proven track record in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients who have availed business loans, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, performance monitoring, and identification of growth opportunities.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, acting as the primary point of contact for business loan clients.
Client Retention and Growth:
- Drive client retention by providing value-added solutions, ensuring the timely resolution of issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for cross-sell or upsell services.
Loan Performance Monitoring:
- Regularly assess the financial health of clients, track loan repayment, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Work with the credit and risk teams to manage any potential defaults or issues.
Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the SME segment, focusing on expanding the client base and driving the uptake of business loan products.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements and business performance of clients to assess risk and recommend appropriate loan products or financial services based on client needs.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to help adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with credit, operations, marketing, and legal teams to ensure smooth loan origination, servicing, and closure processes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, loan status, and performance reports.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or similar advanced qualifications are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a client-facing role within the FinTech, Banking, or NBFC sector, with a focus on SME business loans or commercial lending.
Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of SME lending products, credit risk assessment, and loan servicing processes within the financial services industry.
Relationship Management:
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly within the SME space.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to evaluate client businesses and credit risk effectively.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to clients and internal teams.
Sales Acumen:
- Ability to identify business opportunities and drive sales through consultative selling techniques.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical solutions to clients.
Tech-Savvy:
- Comfortable using CRM tools, data analytics platforms, and other software for client management and reporting.
