Position: Regional Sales Manager - Equipment Finance
Location : Lucknow / Dehradun
Experience : Min 10 - 20 years ( Secured )
Experienced in SME - Equipment Finance
Experienced in High Ticket Size ( Min 1 CR )
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently achieve and exceed regional sales targets for equipment finance.
- Focus on acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing clients.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- This includes recruitment, training, performance management, and career development of sales professionals.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained across all sales teams within the region.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and maximize conversion rates.
- Implement best practices and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- High-Ticket Deal Focus: Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers at SME businesses to generate and close high-ticket equipment finance deals (- 1 Crore and above).
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Represent the company professionally and build a strong brand presence in the region.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential risks.
- Use this information to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Adhere to risk management guidelines and procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as credit, operations, and legal, to ensure smooth deal execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10-20 years of proven experience in secured lending, specifically within the equipment finance industry.
- Extensive experience in managing and leading sales teams.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated expertise in originating and closing high-ticket deals (- 1 Crore and above) within the SME segment.
- Deep understanding of equipment finance products, processes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region
