Regional Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the domestic Consumer Care Division (CCD) sales function for the assigned region through strategic sales planning and budgetary control to achieve business goals and market share growth.
- Lead the CCD regional sales force and develop distribution and coverage strategies for both existing and new product lines across general trade channels.
- Support marketing and trade marketing teams in product launches and promotional activities to enhance product positioning and brand recall.
- Achieve regional sales objectives by standardizing sales processes, implementing trade partner engagement programs, and driving sales automation.
- Develop and execute a detailed sales strategy aligned with overall business vision and regional targets.
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, marketing spends, trade claims, and distributor profitability to ensure financial control.
- Oversee regional channel development, distributor/retailer enrollments, and market expansion initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and drive market share improvements.
- Ensure efficient execution of sales promotions, trade programs, and retail engagement activities to enhance brand visibility and consumer reach.
- Drive sales forecasting, process automation, and distributor/field force capability enhancement initiatives.
- Lead, train, and develop the Area Sales Managers to align their performance with organizational goals.
Requirements:
Education:
- Essential: MBA from Premium Institutes (Sales & Marketing)
Experience:
- Minimum: 10 - 12 years of experience in the FMCG / Consumer Care Division.
- Prior experience in sales, distribution, trade marketing, and market expansion strategies.
