Business Head - IT Product Company
Reports to: CEO/Managing Director
Location: Delhi
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our IT product company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of heading product sales, preferably from the ERP industry, and experience in managing overseas operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
2. Team Management:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction within the sales team.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted sales campaigns.
4. Overseas Operations Management:
- Manage and coordinate sales operations in overseas markets, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales strategy development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with overseas partners, distributors, and customers.
5. Revenue Growth and Forecasting:
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company's overall revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with product management, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective support.
- Provide input on product development and marketing strategies to ensure they meet customer needs and market trends.
Requirements:
7. Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the ERP industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
8. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
9. Skills:
- Excellent sales, marketing, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to inform sales strategies.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
10. Overseas Experience:
- Experience in managing overseas sales operations and teams.
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 20% of the time).
