Associate Manager - PVC Operations

Purpose/Objective

He will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s operations. He will also plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and distributors. Additionally, they are responsible for implementing and improving operational processes, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities of Role

-Lead and oversee the entire PVC production operations at the Mundra facility - Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and maximize output - Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency - Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective measures as needed - Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals to achieve operational goals - Identify and implement technological advancements to improve operational processes - Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational needs - Conduct regular audits to assess and enhance operational performance and compliance - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Technical Competencies

understanding of PVC production processes and technologies,Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations in the petrochemical industry,Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control,Proficiency in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies

Qualifications and Experience

10-15 years of experience in petrochemical industry Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
