Manager- VCM - Ops.

Purpose/Objective

His overall task is to oversee the manufacturing of products and ensure that the production strategies. H will also be responsible for adopting new production techniques that increase manufacturing efficiency

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the VCM plant, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production targets - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and troubleshoot any operational issues - Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment upkeep - Monitor process parameters and take necessary actions to maintain product quality and efficiency - Lead and mentor a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement - Drive initiatives for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization in line with sustainability goals - Prepare operational reports, analyze KPIs, and recommend strategies for enhancing productivity - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to the development of operational procedures

Technical Competencies

In-depth knowledge of VCM production processes and equipment,Experience with DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems,Proficiency in process optimization and troubleshooting techniques,Strong knowledge of process safety management

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preferably in the petrochemical industry - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
