Manager - SCM

Roles:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
• Lead and manage supply chain and logistics teams, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

• Ensure that supply chain and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Manage the budget for supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective practices.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Work to meet customer delivery requirements and improve service levels.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and adaptability.

• BE Mechanical with additional qualifications in Supply Chain.

• Setting up strategic and tactical objective for purchasing
• Contract negotiation, SWOT analysis & competitiveness model etc.
• Supplier sourcing, management and cost evaluation
• Strategic cost analysis for best pricing
• Cost reduction and cost avoidance; cost reduction plan to enhance operational efficiency of the company
• Preventing procurement disruption- evaluating strategic and operational risk management w.r.t sourcing
