BMS/EMS-EMS Algorithm

Purpose/Objective

The Engineer/ Senior Engineer, BMS will play a key role in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) - Technology, Design, and R&D industry at Adani. The role demands an experienced professional with 2-4 years of expertise in battery energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of innovative BMS solutions, contributing to the growth and success of Adani's energy storage initiatives in line with the company's commitment to sustainability and technological advancement

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Assist the development and deployment of advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) for energy storage projects - Defining communication protocol, and functions of battery packs and containers - Design and testing of BMS algorithms for state and power estimation, control strategies for thermal systems, and energy strategies to ensure optimal performance and safety - Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and advancements in BMS technology and integrate them into the design process - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define BMS requirements and specifications for new projects - Testing and validation of BMS prototypes and ensure compliance with industry standards - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize BMS performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness - Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation for BMS development activities - Engage in the evaluation and selection of BMS components, suppliers, and technology partners - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry developments to recommend strategic enhancements to the BMS architecture - Support the implementation of safety and quality standards in all BMS-related processes and products

Technical Competencies

Expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS) development and optimization incl BMS Algorithms,Experience with Battery technology, energy storage systems,Experience with design and simulation tools for BMS development,Experience in Testing and validation of BMS prototypes

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field - Master's degree in a relevant discipline preferred
