Job Title: General Manager - Digital Marketing (Mall)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 12-15 years

Industry Preference: Retail/Mall Management (Preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager in digital Marketing to lead and execute the digital marketing strategy for a premium mall. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing within the retail or mall management sector, demonstrating expertise in driving foot traffic, enhancing customer experience, and boosting tenant visibility through data-driven digital campaigns. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in performance marketing, social media engagement, and omnichannel initiatives to enhance the mall's brand presence and customer loyalty. We are specifically looking for candidates with a blend of Marketing Agency and Corporate experience to bring a well-rounded perspective to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase foot traffic, customer engagement, and overall mall brand positioning.

- Performance Marketing: Oversee and optimize paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, programmatic advertising) focusing on driving footfall, engagement, and conversions.

- SEO & Content Strategy: Develop a strong content marketing and SEO strategy to enhance the mall's online visibility and attract visitors through organic search and local SEO initiatives.

- Customer Engagement & Loyalty: Implement digital initiatives such as loyalty programs, app-based engagement, and personalized marketing campaigns to enhance customer retention and experience.

- Social Media & Brand Building: Manage and grow the mall's presence across social media channels with compelling content, influencer collaborations, and real-time engagement strategies.

- Event & Campaign Promotion: Leverage digital marketing strategies to promote mall events, store launches, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring maximum participation and visibility.

- Omnichannel Integration: Seamlessly integrate online-to-offline (O2O) strategies, including digital promotions, QR-based interactions, and in-mall digital screens.

- Data Analytics & Insights: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and customer data platforms to measure success, track KPIs, and optimize digital campaigns.

- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with retailers, marketing agencies, and technology partners to execute campaigns and improve tenant marketing support.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital marketing team to drive innovation and ensure best-in-class marketing execution.

Key Requirements:

- 12-15 years of experience in Digital Marketing, with a significant portion in the Retail or Mall industry.

- Proven expertise in footfall-driving digital campaigns, customer engagement strategies, and omnichannel marketing.

- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic advertising, and digital analytics.

- Strong knowledge of local SEO, mobile marketing, and digital promotions for physical retail locations.

- Experience in managing large budgets, cross-functional teams, and multiple digital campaigns.

- Proficiency in Google Analytics, CRM tools, automation platforms, and social media analytics.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- A blend of Agency and Corporate experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

- Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.

- Experience in handling mall-based digital marketing, loyalty programs, and retail promotions.
