Job Offer Dilemma
I’m in a situation and need some guidance.
I have a job offer with:
CTC: 9.4 LPA fixed + 21% variable = 11.4 LPA total.
Location: Chennai (not ideal for me).
Another opportunity is in the pipeline, with a more suitable location, but the expected CTC is around 9.4 LPA, which is significantly lower than the first offer.
To add to the dilemma, the HR of the second company feels that asking for 12 LPA (considering my 9.4 LPA fixed offer) is too high.
How would you approach this decision? Should I prioritize location over salary or vice versa? Are there ways to negotiate better terms with the second company?

1. General ability test- (20 Questions)
Questions in this section were from aptitude, logical reasoning and English.
If you have practiced basic aptitude questions (time& distance, time&work, percentage, P&L,ratio, si ci etc) and have logical understanding then this round would be a cakewalk.
2. Technical test- (10 questions)

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: It initially became fish market but later on as people finished points (obviously they didn't allow me to speak) I came out with points that entire group was amazed to see . That's the point in GD Where you feel you will be definitely selected.
Tips: 1. Always in a GD think the points that you believe large masses will not be able to think.Consider it as flock of sheeps vieing for the a debate with similar points while you are having some really cool points that an HR always wants to see.2. Speak less but speak more in terms of facts , Figures , Analysis . Give Others a Chance
Duration: 20 minutes
Round: Group Activity
Experience: In Case Discussion we were presented a case and we were told to order 20 different things according to the importance in carries in the case.This was a less fish market but people in all were heavily bashing as there points were not being taken . There were fights for number 1 position as well :P
Tips: Same as that in a GD . In CD a Recruiter sees the reasoning behind why you want to place some things first than other things later . ALways reason out why you believve your ordering not just give the numbering .

Duration: 4 minutes

Skill Tips: Watch Newshour Debates (yes you heard it right) or watch CNN IBN Talk Shows . Even though it is a menace you get few facts that makes a lot to carry with you
