Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - If you are a recruiter and at Sterling and reading this...
- Do not waste time in scrutinizing the candidate during the interview by discussing his/her past experiences in grave deep detail (you are a background check company, you'll get enough time for the same later the interview).
- Ask questions to a candidate as per his/her exp. level and let them speak.
- A interview process needs to be formalized, none of the interviewer did not introduced themselves with their role/designation at sterling and started the interview as if I was being sitting in custody for questioning.
- One of the interviewer was in so much rush that he was not allowing me to complete the answer or allowing me to explain my points - the same guy who wasted 12-13 minutes in knowing who am I
- There is a format/style for asking questions - like first you are OOPS followed by programming followed by database and like wise, The lady interviewer asking question arbitrarily and sometimes having ambiguous context, one of her question was What is MBD? which later clarified as model based design.. Please use the jargons which are widely used or at least provide the context before asking the question.
- Both the interviewers were cutting each other as if they had a race which one asks more questions in limited time, Boss let the candidate some breathing time.
