Newton's Second law of Motion states that the force acting on an object is directly proportional to its mass and acceleration.
The law is expressed as F = ma, where F is the force, m is the mass, and a is the acceleration.
The direction of the force is the same as the direction of the acceleration.
The law is used to calculate the force required to move an object of a certain mass at a certain acceleration.
Examples includ...
This is Newton's third law of motion which states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The law applies to all objects in motion, including those in the engineering field.
It is important to consider this law when designing structures or machines to ensure they are stable and safe.
Examples include the recoil of a gun after firing, the force exerted on a rocket during liftoff, and the impact of a...

I appeared for an interview in Apr 2022.
First round was written test that was divided into two:-
1. General ability test- (20 Questions)
Questions in this section were from aptitude, logical reasoning and English.
If you have practiced basic aptitude questions (time& distance, time&work, percentage, P&L,ratio, si ci etc) and have logical understanding then this round would be a cakewalk.
2. Technical test- (10 questions)
Basic mechanical and automobile engineering + few physics laws based questions

SCR is a semiconductor device used for controlling high power circuits.
SCR stands for Silicon Control Rectifier.
It is a type of thyristor.
It is used for controlling high power circuits.
It has three terminals: anode, cathode, and gate.
It can be turned on by applying a small voltage to the gate terminal.
Once turned on, it will continue to conduct even if the gate voltage is removed.
It is commonly used in power electronic...
Primary and secondary I and V of transformer are related by the turns ratio.
The primary and secondary currents are inversely proportional to their respective turns ratios.
The primary and secondary voltages are directly proportional to their respective turns ratios.
The turns ratio is the ratio of the number of turns in the primary winding to the number of turns in the secondary winding.
The relationship between primary a...
Logic gates are electronic components that perform logical operations on one or more binary inputs.
They are the building blocks of digital circuits.
There are seven basic types of logic gates: AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, and XNOR.
Logic gates can be combined to create more complex circuits.
They are used in computer processors, calculators, and other digital devices.
Logic gates operate on binary values, where 0 represen
A flip-flop is a digital circuit that can store one bit of information and has two stable states.
It is used in digital electronics to store binary data.
It has two stable states - SET and RESET.
It can be implemented using logic gates like NAND, NOR, etc.
Types of flip-flops include SR flip-flop, D flip-flop, JK flip-flop, and T flip-flop.
Example: A D flip-flop stores one bit of data and has a single input (D) and two out
A bridge rectifier is an electronic circuit that converts AC to DC voltage using diodes arranged in a bridge configuration.
It is used to convert AC voltage to DC voltage.
It consists of four diodes arranged in a bridge configuration.
The output of a bridge rectifier is a pulsating DC voltage.
It is commonly used in power supplies and battery chargers.
The bridge rectifier is more efficient than a half-wave rectifier.

Temperature in the range of 1000°C can be measured using thermocouples or optical pyrometers.
Thermocouples are made of two different metals that generate a voltage proportional to the temperature difference between the two junctions.
Optical pyrometers measure the intensity of the thermal radiation emitted by the object and convert it into temperature.
Both methods require calibration and consideration of environmental f...
