  • Q3. Types of Stainer
  • Ans.

Types of strainers include Y-strainers, basket strainers, duplex strainers, and temporary cone strainers.

    • Y-strainers are used for applications with low flow rates and are easy to clean.

    • Basket strainers are commonly used in pipelines to remove larger particles.

    • Duplex strainers have two separate strainer baskets for continuous operation.

    • Temporary cone strainers are used during commissioning or maintenance to prevent debr

  • Q8. Line Sizing procedure
  • Ans.

Line sizing procedure involves determining the appropriate diameter of pipes for a given flow rate and pressure drop.

    • Calculate the required flow rate and pressure drop for the system

    • Use fluid properties and pipe material to determine the appropriate pipe size

    • Consider factors such as velocity, friction loss, and future expansion

    • Ensure the selected pipe size meets safety and regulatory requirements

    • Common methods include ...

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - To much of politics, no promotion, you have work like slave. No proper salary hike yearly...

If you complaint against Manager to HR, HR will inform manager like so and so Engineer is given complaint. manager will take personally and he will give more work pressure.... He will torture engineer.

Initially HR will treat very good after your joining HR will not entertain you. HR will tell, speak to manager.

HR policy says that Saturday & Sunday is holiday but engineer should work, manager will not allow to take holiday.

Sudden they call by evening, will say need to travel outstation by night.
There is no personal life, after reaching by evening you need to do document work.

Need work 24 X 7.

If you want take any leave you need to inform a month back, then only Manager will consider, some time it will be cancelled by manager.
