Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I had an interview with Suraksha Diagnostics Ltd for the role of Marketing Head, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve encountered. The entire process seemed disorganized, with the panel focusing on irrelevant aspects that had little to do with the actual responsibilities of a marketing head.

To my surprise, instead of discussing strategy, campaign planning, or marketing KPIs, they kept bombarding me with revenue-related questions, which are not core to a marketing role. One baffling moment was when they asked me to explain the best campaign I’ve led in just three lines – something that cannot be summarized so briefly if they genuinely wanted to understand my achievements. They also threw in odd questions like “How should you sell yourself?” which felt both amateurish and inappropriate for a senior role.

Any attempt I made to give a detailed response was cut short with interruptions, showing a lack of professionalism and interest in actually evaluating my capabilities. The entire interview, which should have been an in-depth discussion about strategies and future growth, ended abruptly within 10 minutes, as it became apparent that they were following their personal agenda rather than conducting a meaningful assessment.

Afterward, I learned from industry contacts that Suraksha Diagnostics has a notorious reputation for hiring throughout the year and firing employees within three months. This interview confirmed the red flags – the chaotic process and rushed evaluation hinted at deeper organizational issues.

This experience serves as a cautionary tale for professionals applying here: be prepared for a frustrating experience and ensure you evaluate the company just as much as they evaluate you.
