Assessment was given in virtual IDE to build a product order system. Questions are explained in detail, required UI is given along with DB connections. You just need to put the logic and make the UI dynamic. The task contains product listing, add to cart and checkout feature.
The twist over here is you are not supposed to refer anything online or changing of screens are allowed. The time you spent on this IDE is getting captured with video and audio. Also as per the guidlines,it was mentioned that frequent login/logout to IDE will be disqualified.
The phpmyadmin portal given has very restricted permissions and cant fire grant access queries and worst is if any error is found even in select query, it will not show you any error and you will be hanging there until you guess the error. Also it was going out of service multiple times.
The IDE has submit project option with automation testing which is not working properly. I was not able to submit the project as automation testing gave an error that a button with text 'XYZ' was not found, though button was available. There is no contact number available to contact the organization and it doesn't matter how many emails sent to them regarding your queries, no one will ever revert you back.
So in short nice idea of giving assessment, good task to do but badly handled automation testing, phpmyadmin and organization support if you are stuck out.
