  • Q1. What is the early phase I
  • Ans. It is nothing but phase 0 trial which would be conducted before phase I, phase 0 is conducted in the clinical on clinical subjects when the drug is being tested for the first time in humans. In this phase 0 trials only few number of subjects will be recruited say like 10 or below in order to avoid major side effects and analyze the effect of the drug.

  • Ans. In phase I clinical trial we focus on the safety analysis of the intervention and if it is safe we continue to determine the effective dose for the drug so that it can be recommended for the phase 2 trial sometimes,

  • Ans. Neurodegenerative diseases is a case where brain cells stop working or die and that leads to improper co-ordination among the brain cells and nerves that lead to various brain disorders like Alzheimer's, Huntington's diseases, Parkinson's diseases, the drugs to cure these diseases are neurodegenerative drugs include levodopa, carbidopa, denepexel.
