Ans. It is nothing but phase 0 trial which would be conducted before phase I, phase 0 is conducted in the clinical on clinical subjects when the drug is being tested for the first time in humans. In this phase 0 trials only few number of subjects will be recruited say like 10 or below in order to avoid major side effects and analyze the effect of the drug.
