Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - This is was such a horrible experience! If I have to share an advice, please stay away from Razorpay. They waste your time as if we have signed up for it and they are paying for scheduling interviews with us. Useless recruiters! When I say recruiters they are not HRs but hiring managers. Disgusting people! I had interviewed for cross borders, the hiring manager Rishi Kumar claimed himself to be a cross border head. He has no knowledge about fintech. It’s all the colours he has put on his feathers and trying to fly. I’m sure one day the management will understand what these people are doing and where they are heading in this organisation. I felt terrible when he did a personal attack by saying “this is not chai bhechne wala sales” for no reason. He kept speaking nonsense “you seemed to be a I don’t give a damn person”. There was no instance at all to bring up these statements. When I was explaining about my previous experiences he called one of the very known B2B company as D2C company. How can someone speak rubbish like this? He questioned twice about my marital status, my spouse which I think was unnecessary. I spoke to the HR and the hr was helpless here. He kept saying my profile was on hold for nearly 45 days and he schedules another round of interview to ask the same question what he asked in the first discussion. And it didn’t stop there, when asked for results they kept saying it’s on hold. Why can’t a leader take a decision? Is he incapable? This shows how weak one is and made this kind of people sit in leadership. Hiring manager was good at procrastinating and demeaning. No decision making skills, no time management, no understanding, no empathy, no respect of candidates and very importantly no resilience. I somewhere felt the hiring manager needs to have more experience and knowledge to sit in that position. I myself felt I’m better than him in every aspect. Razorpay’s management has to be little responsible to know what’s happening in the organisation and avoid these situations. No one attends interviews to kill their time and energy. This has been the worst interview experience ever. Please show some mercy and compassion to those who attend interviews instead of being so rude and arrogant. You aren’t paying from your pocket but the company who believes in your decision making skills.
To job seekers- please don’t waste time with this company.
