- Q2. What is Hardness and Toughness?
- Ans.
Hardness is the ability of a material to resist indentation or scratching, while toughness is the ability to absorb energy without fracturing.
Hardness is measured by the Mohs scale for minerals and the Brinell or Rockwell scales for metals
Toughness is measured by the Charpy or Izod impact tests

Easy level of aptitude test. Competition is higher as the exam is easy and need to score more accordingly.
