Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The interview was a technical one not too much stress test. There was two interviews both test my technical knowledge on electronics and communication and also they have asked questions on programming logics. Most of the questions are from analog and digital modulation techniques-rf transmitter and reciever, wireless communication parameters like path loss -fading - error control techniques- sensitivity of recievers-bit error rate of different modulation techniques - communication networks-tcpip protocols -osi layers and their functions -functions of switches and routers and theirs associated osi layers. And also they have checked the knowledge about my btech and Mtech projects and the questions where not direct ones.

Round: Test
Experience: It was an objective type test questions related to aptitude, digital, c, data structures, operating system ,computer architecture and  microprocessor. The level of difficulty was high.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: This was purely technical with questions relating to algorithms(binary search, sorting) ,  networks(layers and different protocols,  subnetting), projects(my final  year project in manets), 
networks  project,compiler  oriented  questions related  to  C runtime  features (Use  of  heap  and 
stack to store variables in a C program ­how they work with procedures).

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Third round was again more of  technical and  long one to. OOPs was the main focus here. 
OOPs  concepts  were  asked.  
 

Round: HR Interview
Experience:  Basic HR questions were asked. More focus on my grade sheet. They were looking 
for consistency and they were concerned with recruiting high graders. And questions like “You 
are more of a software guy..why do you want to join this post...” Since I was desperate to get a 
job, I answered "I like challenges".

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Written test considered of very high level of aptitude questions. Maths based questions can be solved by school knowledge of maths. Basics of C and verillog is a must.
Tips: Since the paper was very lengthy, it is not advisable to spend excess time on any one section. Usually, companies have a sectional cut-off. So attempting to answer at least some questions in each section is mandatory.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interview was conducted the very next morning. It went on for around 30 mins approximately for each candidate. There was a single round of interviews where initially the candidates were asked technical questions. Towards the end of the interview, simple HR questions were asked. Basic digital, Verilog, C and some problem solving abilities are required
Tips: Prepare beforehand about the company and how you may fit into the profile. The introduction part is very important. If you are an experienced candidate, expect questions regarding the details of your previous job.

General Tips: 1: Be Confident.
2: Keep Smiling.
3: Do not be Panic.
4: Remember they are here to hire you but not reject you.
5: Do not loose hope.
6: Believe at yourself.
7: Start preparing early.
8: Do demo interviews with your friend.

Experience: Paper was really lengthy. One had to either leave questions evenly in all the sections or leave out a section entirely. its better to start with electronics.
Tips: Aptitude Section Defines quickness. Electronics define emphasis on knowledge and C programming defines modern knowledge.,

Experience: Technical questions were majorly on CMOS circuits. Few Maths puzzles were also asked.
Tips: Be ready to face questions on the latest research. DO NOT Boast!

General Tips: Just Stick to your basics and you'll do great. Again DO NOT BOAST.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: I had a CGPA of 9.18/10 and the cutoff was 8/10.

Round: Test
Experience: The test had two Sections:
1. Aptitude - (Very Tough. Most questions were puzzles, probability)
2. Tech - (Very Easy. Deciding factor). Includes basic digital circuits
Tips: I prepared Digital Circuits Basics for Technical round.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The interview was of 1h 30 min. All common digital circuit questions were asked

General Tips: Start 1 month ahead. For aptitude and tech prepare Verilog FAQs and ASIC design flow(mainly for core companies.)
Skill Tips: I think I got selected because of my project and Interview performance.
Skills: Digital Verification, CAD for VLSI, Digital IC design

Probability - Bertrand's Paradox
Tips: I mostly prepared for the interview by studying the class notes well.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interview was mainly based on the courses that I had credited in the previous semesters. I got selected because of my performance in written test and also in the technical interview. I topped the written test. I impressed them during the interview by answering 95% of the questions.

Skill Tips: I prepared for placements by video lectures, solving puzzles etc. I started my preparation in August
