Round: Group Discussion
Experience: They presented our group with a case and asked everyone to justify their stand on it.
Tips: Be clear in your mind why you are choosing a side and give concise and logical reasons behind it.
Try to speak first but only if you are well prepared with your points.
Don't debate.

Experience: There were a total of 35 multiple choice questions: These contained questions mainly for PETROLEUM REFINING subject if you are thorough with this subject you can easily answer 25 questions.the rest of the questions were from HEAT TRANSFER and FPM. PETROLEUM REFINING: From this check what are these things which will give you brief overview of the technical paper: topping operation: bubble cap is used for this see the rest things like what is the definition and all. what is atmospheric distillation unit and vacuum distillation unit? all details like what are feeds for each and its products. aviation fuels characteristics especially its viscosity index;the products of petroleum refining and their viscosities; catalytic cracking wats is the feed and the catalyst used for this;wats cetane and octane no also diesel index;see some important processes like sweetening process and others. On a whole you need to be good at this petroleum refining mostly it is memory based. FPM: need to be thorough like centrifugal pump is used to pump crude; different kinds of pumps characteristics and design. different kind of flow measurement meters. HEAT TRANSFER: FILM TYPE AND DROP TYPE CONDENSATION AND THE DIFFERENCE IN HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS i.e the heat transfer coefficient for drop is greater than film type STUDY EVERY MINUTE THING.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - 1. Ofcourse if you are not confident you will get rejected. Because Interviewer asks the 4x questions who has lack of Confidence to broke them to fear .You sbould get rid of that.
2. And Always balance ur words like what u going to say ,read the mind of the interviewer. (ofcourse it take practices)
3.As like our older says "Stand infront of the mirror and start saying about you, define yourself to you, what r u, why r u, how u gonna work this, everything" This'll burn the fear inside you.
4. Don't get Upset if u can not make to a comapny and instead of doing excuses about the company or HR's question, U should work hard on yourself gathering previous mistakes and make to the better comapny
5.And always follow the laws and well prepare your responsibilities.
Thats all Advice i can gave.
