Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: It is done on the basis of your CGPA. Try to maintain your CGPA above 7.5 at least.

Round: Test
Experience: I was well prepared so it was easy to clear the test.
Tips: The aptitude questions are easy to moderate. One can prepare for it with the help of internet. Online aptitude can be searched on Google and practice tests can be solved.
Technical questions consist of knowledge about some basic concepts and basic numericals. Just be confident and try to focus more on manufacturing and thermodynamics right from the beginning.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Questions: 80

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: I started the GD and it's very important to note that one must only start the GD if he/she has good knowledge about the background of the topic. The person who starts must generalize the topic and make the topic open for discussion. Make sure you do not get carried away and establish your opinion if you are beginning the GD. Once you have developed the background let others contribute. Once you get an opportunity just put forward your points and then try to come up to a common consensus.
Duration: 20 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: My whole interview went around this topic only. I had good projects to describe my learnings. I was asked about my favourite subject. I couldn't specify any particular subject as I liked all of them equally so I just told the same to them. I was confident to give answer to any question asked but I would suggest one must have a subject in which he/she should make themselves strong enough to answer any question. No question was asked from me though as I made sure my internship projects displayed the knowledge I had in different subjects ranging from design and development to material selection. The interviewer was very calm and excited to know things out of me.
Tips: Be confident and clear in what you want to convey.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: It was very comfortable. Just some basic questions were asked. They try to access your personality and your ability to communicate. They also look for people who can adapt according to their surroundings.
