SO DONT FORGET TO SWITCH BETWEEN THE SECTIONS.

I'm sharing you a doc, which contains all the test questions asked by different companies (including goldman sachs) in different IITs. Just search "Goldman Sachs" in the doc and you'll find all the questions of the test. :)

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Everyone who applied for the company were allowed to give the test. The test was in similar lines as that of CAT (Quant, DI, LR and stuff).
Tips: Try the TIME material (or any other aptitude test material for preparation), Indiabix is an another website for aptitude tests. The more tests you give the more weak points you'll find and the more you can improve on them.
There are a lot of tips available online (far more better than what I could give)

Round: Other Interview
Experience: They directly shortlisted 7 of us for the interview directly from the test. The interview started with some HR questions and they started asking me stuff to test my problem solving skills like the questions that I mentioned in this section. Later, moved on to ask about my experience at the internship and started walking through my resume for some more questions.
Tips: Just be honest and try not to panic if you don't have the solution immediately. Take a 10 second break if need to think (Trust me, this small break goes a long way if you happen to get stuck somewhere)

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Out the 7, they shortlisted 5 for the 2nd round of Interview. This one was very typical to the HR round. Asked me about my hobbies and went in detail for each one of them and then about my future career plans.
Tips: Be honest. That's it!

General Tips: Be patient. Irrespective of the number of interviews you give, you will eventually get the job that suits you the best.
Skills: Ability To Be Involved In Hands On Work, Ability To Justify, Ability To Express Your Ideas, Ability To Analyse, Entrepreneurial Skills, Problem Solving Abilties, Problem Solving Skills, Aptitude
College Name: IIT Bombay
Motivation: Wanted to get into consulting. Didn't get shortlisted in top tier consults. Deloitte is not bad either and is at par with top consults recently

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: There were 3 Job profiles open of opera solutions (Solution Analyst, Analytics Specialist, and Software Engineer). Students are asked to sign just for one profile. There was a test for analytics and software profile and direct interview for solution profile (Consultant profile).
Tips: Spend enough time before choosing the profiles. Spoke to senior who had a similar job and figure out your best suitable profile and prepare accordingly.

Round: Test
Experience: Opera solution conducts workshop for shortlisted candidates. In the workshop, they mostly tell about technical part behind big data management such as Mainframe and Hadoop. After the workshop, the test was conducted. The test had two sections, the first section contains objective questions around 20-25 (I did not remember the exact number). Objective questions were of aptitude type (moderate level of difficulty). The second section contains 5-6 subjective questions, mainly focus on probability again the moderate level of difficulty. 30 students were shortlisted for next round (interview round).
Tips: Start preparing as early you can. Practice problem daily does not wait for last few day. The main point of practice is to develop a habit of increasing accuracy and speed which is the crucial points of aptitude test.
For probability practice, there are online website and blogs you can take help from them. I have listed down some which are used. You should have some prior practice before setting for test otherwise, it would be difficult to do well in the test as some questions are tricky and difficult to solve in the first time.
For aptitude practice, you can refer TIME material, I think that is sufficient.

Round: Guesstimate Interview
Experience: The interviewer first goes through my resume and ask some basic question, not in depth. Then he asked me some puzzle (similar type of question asked in the subjective paper but with a high level of difficulty) and one guesstimate.
My interview last for 10-15 mins, the interviewer is very helpful and always try to calm and comfort me.
The interviewer gave me feedback and point out some area on which I can quickly look it for further interview.

Tips: I have assigned a buddy, IIT graduate having the same specialization. (Opera solutions follow buddy program similar of other consultant company). I personally found out buddy program very useful, you should contact your buddy or at least talk to him ones. The information you get from a buddy is very helpful of preparing for an interview. You get some aspect on which domain you need to work.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Next round was the telephonic interview with a senior analyst. The interviewer asked me some question from my resume especially on the technical project which involves some mathematics tool.
Then he asked some probability problems which are very tough.

Tips: The interviewer was interested in your approach only, how you’re tackling the problem. How much wide can you think? The interviewer is also ready to help you and try to figure out your strength. So be calm and speak with confidence.

Round: Stress Interview
Experience: The interviewer asked me some question from my resume in depth.
He asked one guesstimate and one probability question.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: The interviewer started with questions like why this company, which other companies did I appeared for.
He asked me some quick calculation problems.

General Tips: Resume: Spend sufficient time on the resume as I was the initial step of shortlisting.
You be able to speak at any point in your resume in detail, hence you must be sure of what you are writing in it.

Puzzle: Practice Daily

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Resume making is an art, as everybody puts it. It is true to a certain extent. Drafting resume requires a lot of time. It took me 20 days to come up with the final resume. I started by preparing a rough draft and corrected it with time. I got it reviewed from many people so as to avoid any grammatical errors and also to check if the flow of sentences is good. It was a daunting task but in the end it turned out well since I made it to the shortlist of several companies.
Tips: You should start with listing down all your achievements (even if they're small). Having done that, try to club different points into one category and divide your resume in sections. This will make reader's job easy to create an impression of you. Ensure that there are no grammatical errors. Also, try to articulate sentences in a way which is easily understandable.
Once your resume is ready, get it reviewed from peers and seniors.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: It was a typical market entry case. The interviewer only wanted to check the structure and hence didn't go into details. After asking relevant preliminary questions, I approached this case by understanding two things, one, if there is any opportunity (profitability) within this business and second, if my friend has the required capabilities to enter into this market. The interviewer asked me questions at various parts of the case. I couldn't reach to the recommendation part because of shortage in time.
Tips: Practice sufficient number of market entry cases since these are commonly asked. In the case interview, always try to understand the interviewer's motive behind giving the problem statement. It can be very well understood after 5-10 minutes into the case. Once you know that, it becomes very easy to cast a good impression through solving the case in his desired direction. Also, it is reasonable to ask for interviewer's help whenever needed.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: Case details:
This wasn't a simple case as it looks. I tried 2 different approaches but the interviewer wasn't looking convinced. So I tried another approach of dividing the profitability region wise after taking hints from the interviewer. I then went ahead and asked for profitability in different regions where XYZ was operating. It turned out that one country didn't have profitability at par with other countries so I focused on improving profits for that particular country. The problem was somewhere in cost which interviewer helped me find out. Based on it, I gave my recommendations.
Tips: Try to remain calm when you might not pick the right approach at first for case solving. Listen to your interviewer clearly since he might drop hints for laying down initial structure.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: This interview was a typical HR interview taken by a Partner with majority of time spent on my introduction. I am fond of reading political news and this became a subject of interest for the interviewer. My opinions were asked regarding Bihar elections, Modi Govt and new policies. This interview went smoothly but lasted quite long before I was made an offer.
Tips: This type of interview is majorly meant for two things, one is to see whether you are a good fit or not and second is to see whether you have a recall value (something that is unique to you). You should analyze yourself damn well before going into the interview room. From your strengths to weaknesses, everything should be supported by some examples or relevant arguments.

General Tips: With doing 30-35 cases, the required skills for solving cases can be developed. Make sure cases are as diverse as possible.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: It is a standard psychometric test which asks you questions about your personality. There are 4 statements in each set and you are asked whether or not you agree with the given statements.
Tips: Be honest while answering the questions as quite a few of them are reworded and repeated over the course of the test.

Round: Test
Experience: The first test puts you in the shoes of a Shell graduate and presents 4 potential responses to a situation, of which you have to rate each one on a scale of highly productive to counter productive and mark the options which you are most and least likely to employ.

The second test is a standard data interpretation based aptitude test where you have to answer 16 questions in 18 minutes. The questions take a good amount of time to complete, so a bit of practice on data interpretation is recommended before attempting the test.
Tips: Shell's website has example questions for each round of tests, it is recommended that you go through the questions once to familiarize yourself with the kind of questions asked.

Round: E-Tray Case study
Experience: This round places you as a manager on a Shell project in a fictional region. You are given a set of documents
