Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: My resume was not a stand out one. It was decent with internships in two startups and course projects in economics. People with a ok resume will make the cut.

Round: Test
Experience: IIT-JEE level questions on probability were asked. They were not very hard but little tricky. 17 objective questions with negative marks for wrong answers and 3 puzzles with no negative marks for wrong answers were asked. Calculators were also allowed.
Tips: Brush up on probability will help you answer all the 20 questions.
Duration: 60 minutes
Total Questions: 20

Round: Stress Interview
Experience: My interview wasn't great at all. I thought I would never make the cut after the interview. A 6 member panel with 3 members bombarding me with questions and 3 members laughing at me for everything I say. Asked me about normal distributions that I had mentioned in my resume. I wasn't able to answer the questions properly on this part. They asked me to leave and I convinced them to give me some puzzles. The puzzles were very easy and may be this was the reason I got selected.
Tips: Prepare for the worst. If you have anything related to statistics in your resume be sure to learn about it very well. Command on probability will enhance your chances.

Skill Tips: Any 12th standard book on probability and statistics will do. Concentrate more on the probability part. Learning statics might give you an edge over other people.
Skills: Statistics, Maths(esp Probability), Probability And Statistics
