Round: Test
Experience: For eg.. Mech Engg: Manufacturing process (especially Welding, casting & machining), Fluid Mechanics, Design of mechanical systems & Machine elements, Thermodynamics & basic knowledge of electro-chemistry and lead acid battery.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Based on the combined scores of the above mentioned phases, lies the selection criteria for Interview.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Questions spanning across the basics of your branch, Projects/Internships undertaken during the course of 4 years. For eg. In Mech. Engg., basic questions were asked from different domains of Manufacturing process, Design of Machine elements, CAD, fluid mechanics, IC Engines...etc..Questions testing the intellect, are also likely to come along, especially from the Manufacturing process and Design sections

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Basic questions describing yourselves, questions related to situational problems and decision making & general interactive question-answer session about interests etc.There is just one interview round which consists the aforementioned sub phases.

Experience: 1.Verbal Ability: This section consists of 25 qs time allotted is 20 min.section includesa) Articles .......... 5qs

c) Prepositions . ... 5qs
d) passages ....2 passages and each consists of 5 qs total 10qs.very simple qs the only thing is time management.2. Analytical Ability: After 20 min they will provides this section consists of 25 qs. All are very simple.1)Venn diagram problem consists of 5 qs

Experience: In my panel there are 2 interviewers.They didn't asked any HR qs directly entered into Technical where they had asked qs from EDC,Digital Electronics, Op-amps, Microcontroller about project,ADC ,DAC...etc. and another interviewer asked qs from C like write a program for factorial of a no and asked to write the same program in assembly language

Experience: After that she said location where it located, salary package and agreement and asked are u willing to sign the agreement . I said yes. .Who will say noh then a final swansong: Do you have any asked any qs ? I said noh Mam .Best Of luck Guys !! Stay Hungry Stay Fit

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: This was followed by group discussion wherein topics were based on current technology.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The next step to selection was interview, which was both technical as well as HR. In this round technology based questions, Questions on your current and past projects, internships(if any), basic HR questions to test communication skills were asked.

Round: Telephonic Round
Experience: The final round was Partner interview, it was basically telephonic HR round

Experience: Main elimination round..I must say GE people are very friendly.They will give u full opportunity to answer the ques so dnt give up in one take try hard.As my grade is gud(highest in mtech)They dint asked hard technical.I had GENERAL MOTORS internship certi also ,They asked from that,asked about the M.Tech thesis.Be very careful about your CV,write only those things in CV which u can explain easily.Your presence of mind should be very good.They will try to trap u and contradict u bt u be very confident while answering and always keep the eye contact.They asked whether i will go for Phd or not,professional aspiration and how GE fulfils it,about myself,why i choose electrical branch in btech and power system in mtech etc.Only technical was about vaccum CB,air CB,about thermal power plant,its efficiency,latent heat etc.And details about my ongoing project.Answer honestly and confidently because you only have to convince them fully coz they are searching LEADERS!!!!!! And follow 3 idiots 'Knowledge ke peeche bhago success jhak maar ke peeche aayegi'

Experience: Written was online test conducted on the first day. Tech n hr on the next day.There was separate test for cs,ec n mech. I belong to ec group. Main topics to be covered is apti, c, basic elec, logic design, mc,mp & control systems.Written consisted of 2 parts, apti n tech. RS Agarwal s far sufficient for quant, verbal was quite simple, few que on reasoning n comprehension. Tech was more of basics. most que wer from basic elec.

Experience: Technical round was very different for each one. I got more que on mc & cs. Designing will be asked usually. Architecture of 8051, counters in ld, open loop & close loop systems in cs, few basic programs lik fibonacci series n prime no in c.

Experience: HR was very simple. usual que wer asked like tell me abt yourself, family background, why bosch & why shud i hire you.

Round: Test
Experience: Aptitude Test: 30 Minutes .1 mark each .Technical Test: 40 Minutes 2 mark each .The toughest part of the selection process was written test. They have shortlisted 22 from the test.For the aptitude do a couple of mock cats and you would be ready to go. Stay calm. Basic knowledge of things would do. Stay calm they may screen your profile but most of them are accepted.

Experience: They have shortlisted 22 from the test and had eliminated only 2 in interview. You have to be thorough with the technical stuff. Interview was nice. The panel members were friendly. It was for 20 minutes.They have asked the basic question from the power transmission and thermodynamics . As type of the gear drive, belt drive and how the gears work and from thermodynamics 1st law of thermodynamics ,enthalpy etc
