The salary hike is a joke. B band gets 5% and C gets 3%. A gets 8% to 12% (if your boss recommends higher pay hike so there's no way to guys getting A band are treated equally based on their performance. Promotions are not merit based. So you have to ask for it, make noise and keep following up. If you're an introvert, forget your promotion. HR policies are strictly enforced in the letter. Not even HR knows the spirit of the rules. Someone on the bench is asked to travel 45kms one way to spend 9 hours in the office only for the compliance to RTO rules. TCS cares is a myth. Values are only for the media and on paper and for the associates to follow. Leadership level thoughts are different.

TCS is a very secured company and provides lot of facilities to their employees. Medical facilities provided by TCS is the best. There is job security in TCS. Work environment and culture is nice. Work Mobility is there. TCS is spread across the world so work mobility and opportunities is there. Office premises is huge.

Dislikes

Salary structure as compared to other companies is low.

Learning at the Organisation, The fluidity of Roles, Power to do any activity irrespective of roles provided one has the skill and appetite for that

Compensation is lowest as per industry standards Governance is weak so lot laid back employees hamper productivity

I see my growth only in TCS with 13 years of experience. I would like continue to work in TCS because, TCS gives a good platform for our career growth. Overall experience is amazing. Thanks to TCS for establishing my career and growth in this organization.

Dislikes

1. Compensation is one factor that is not fruitful to employees. 2. Appraisal process is not up to the best in class standard. 3. Few projects where leadership is not properly guiding their team members to the right direction.

Dislikes

I did not dislike anything about working at Citigroup except that the haze in Singapore which ran for 3+ months affected my young daughter, wife and had to return back to India to show them to doctors. Company should have provided an option for me to come back and continue working in Singapore after one or 2 months of family leave
