Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

Life will be chill. If you know how to do bare minimum and still get work done somehow, you'll be really good here.

Forget money. No increment whatsoever. learn to live miserly as salary is just chillars...

TCS is a good company if you are looking for a long time job security. Since TCS has a backing of TATA group, the brand image and perks like medical facilities are really good.

The Salary structure of all employees needs to revisited urgently (both freshers and experienced). Appraisals and timely promotions have taken a back seat especially after COVID. Even normal Analyst and AST promotions have been freezed for a long time now. Recruitment process has also been hit and this has created competency related problems in projects.

Great Organisation with huge strength, very detailed policies about all the aspects. Best Medical Insurance with Domiciliary claims. Wide range of projects with different domains and technologies. They also encourage employees for skill upgrade and certifications. kind of culture within a team entirely depends on the project and it has nothing to do with the organisation.

Dislikes

Salary increments are very low like max by 7-7.5% to best performers and as low as 2-3% for lower bands. For promotions everything is not clear and it also depends upon the overall account and IOU. Working with client makes a dual kind of working environment where you have to work for both client and TCS separately. It takes so much of time for the compliance and approvals. TCS is not retaining their existing employees, even if they are doing hike is very less compared to the salary given to new experienced professionals.

... different people, they all the victims of complex management structure TCS has. Also, salary structure is very poor, they are looting employees by paying less.
