Dislikes

Work life balance is not considered at all. One has to work every single day and that too without any extra pay. Culture and behaviour of seniors are very rude and they bash folks but never help them out

Job security due to Tata brand. Nothing more positive about this. Most of the people are just for Tata brand. HR and senior management will boast a lot about company during interview process, but once you join you will realise they have no clue of what they are doing.

The best part of joining Tata Digital was the product that they are working upon. As a Software Developers, I know what is the product that I will have to work upon and who would be my end user. They are working upon all the latest technology stack. Everything is in cloud native with no legacy skill stack to work upon. As a Tata group employee I get benefits on most of the products and services of Tata group companies from air tickets to hotel bookings to purchasing electronic items.

If you are good at licking your boss, then you dont have to work. Life is very chill, just say yes sir 5 times a day without any questioning. There are lots of skills that you will learn here like how to blame others, divert your tasks to juniors Tech team is very good. Everyone is from TCS and like you they are also only looking for passing the time. Excellent HR team. They managed to remove the company existence from glassdoor after so may true reviews. Great work. IT support team is very smart. They provide cheap quality laptop (sometimes not even in warranty) which crashes during work. On top of that, if anything goes wrong you will have to bear the cost. In this way, IT team is getting lots of old TCS laptop repaired.

Salary is very less. HR team will try convince you a lot before you join. But once you join, they will forget that you exist. They wont even clear basic salary related doubts. No clarification on investment declaration. Officially its 5 days work, but every weekend you have to work because leadership team continuously changes the requirements.

1. All things are priority across the year and working on 2 out of 4 weekends is expectations 2. Lots of delivery and Program manager from TCS with irrelevant domain knowledge but good with following up on resources. 3. Udemy based learning structure from architect to developers. 4. Creating pressure and making them developers feel low is the trick 5. They are only product based company with timesheet paradigm
