HCL is nice company to work with and they really take care of there employees. They have very good medical facilities and insurance plan. They have good infrastructure and work place environment.

Dislikes

They don’t pay much of the variable component even if you are performing good. They are sometimes felt like not very professional while following a defined process and practice. HR don’t even acknowledge employees queries or doubts and never give you transparency on any concerns.

Likes

Salary on time. It seems they have improved their bench policy. Opportunities are opened for bench people more comparative to earlier years.

Dislikes

Promotion policies are not good. Hike is very less or nothing.

Likes

The mgmt especially i got chance to work are experienced and good people

Dislikes

1.Delay in appraisal and performance bonus. 2.Salary structure is not good,paying more tax.Basic and HRA both are same. 3.Suppose we left in between ,they never pay their performance bonus,which is part of CTC.

Likes

HCL is having wonderful technologies and excellent people who are even working for more than 20 years. There is no bell curve followed strictly in hcl, so people in high level /middle level will have many talented technical leads/architects to handle pressure or issues always. The yearly talent exams are easier to clear.

Dislikes

For long time people ,difficult to get good hikes equal to any lateral hires. There is no salary normalization as per the band or experience. Lateral hired Software engineer might be getting 100 % more salary than his manager.

Likes

Good company to work as it gives job security and some projects are also good and they had latest tech stack to work with.

Dislikes

It doesn't provide good annual compensation but that is true for all big Indian base companies but overall it is good for experienced professionals to continue for the long term.
