Just the initial salary hike. Everything else was super toxic. Even the initial salary hike was compensated by pathetic appraisals and low salary hike in the next 2 years.

Everything. Specially the lack of empathy amongst the so called leaders. The partners here are baniyas only wanting to expand business

People are willing to collaborate on multiple assignments. Salary and bonus are good but health insurance could be wayy better.

Only profit matters, they’ll make you work till you beg for death. Work life balance doesn’t exist in their dictionary. No clear path forward to higher roles.

...hout any compensation. Even if you are working whole night you are expected to be in office at 9:30/10 am the other morning and this happens regularly. Too much politics, people who don't involve in politics or don't do buttering of managers don't get growth here. Management is just too biased. Very inhuman culture of first setting too high expectations from any resource and calling it competitive culture. A 3 yr old experience resource is expected to take care of the whole project. Don't give any team lunch or any fun activities....It solely depends on partner and EY doesn't care if your partner is not good. Even female employees are asked to work from office if there is any exceptional requirement and there is no one to ensure safety apart from just the security guard. Your manager just needs the work done. Taking leaves is almost a dream. They say you can take year end leaves but technical teams don't get those leaves too. It does not leave you with any time to give it to family. If you are deployed on client sides in different cities then you are supposed to come back on friday late night and reach to the client side on Monday morning be it any city in India ... You don't even get time to wash your clothes or eat properly because they don't reimburse laundry for younger resources and give very less money to get reimbursed for food. I was assigned budget of 400 rs per day by my Partner saying that the client doesn't allow more than this. It's a horrible place to be at. Everything written on linkedin in past few year about EY is infact 50% less .... It is more horrible than what is written there.

Its all about team we are in EY. My team is overall good. Yet company culture is poor which gets inherited. Being consultant flexible working hours, hybrid mode again these depend on clients.

Poor salary, does not match with industry poor appraisal too, despite huge profits they don't pass on benefit to employees no outside salary benefits in the name of well being, they arrange virtual yoga, doctor counselling no gifts, or merchandises' which is basic thing earlier organization used to conduct parties and offsite, that is too curbed to cheap places once a year.
