The culture at EY is very work centric and not people centric . They say there is work life balance However that not being true at all . Career growth is dependent how your relationship is with your management and performance is the second criteria. In terms of learning it doesn't provide much .

The only thing good about EY was the salary.

EY is a good form outside India I hope but here, it's all about manipulation and power play. The firm believe in women empowerment and I support that wholeheartedly. But, the environment that I experienced was completely unprofessional and to many extents, unethical. I didn't have the freedom of expression as an Asst. Manager and wasn't given the freedom to do my job in a manner I should have. Overall, a very bad experience.

- Terrible work life balance. - During busy season you have 15-16 hours of work with no weekend off; while during non busy season you may have no work at all for whole week or month. - Company simply hires employees as cattle and make them work regardless of their skill set and expertise, I got hired as language expert and during 1 year of my tenure itself they kept on changing my teams ~ 4 times as per their requirement to do repetitive and low level of clerical work where no language skills were being used at all. That seriously damages a person's own confidence and mental health.

No work life balance in EY(GCR-DT), Management is very poor, no 1-1 discussion, only you get the feedback online. No visibility to the management as they never interact to their employees.
