Cognizant is implementing ramp down across all the BU which is impacting the employee future, Managers do not value an individual unique strengths. Job security is very challenge in CTS for senior people

1. Toxic tech lead in my case. Micromanagement. 2. Internal politics is top notch. 3. More than 10 hours work on workdays, some Saturdays without extra pay.

1. Onboarding and Induction: The Onboarding and Recruitment Process in Cognizant is very smooth. The induction was also very good. 2. Pay-scale: Salary is average with regards to what other Organizations will offer for a Senior IBM BPM Developer. 3. Work Life balance is average. 4. Learning Platforms: What I loved about Cognizant is their Skill Up program, every annual year you will be given opportunities to skill up on Cloud Platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and IBM Cloud. 2 certification vouchers are available every year. Learning platforms are also very good, you will get access to many platforms like udemy.

...uggle with IID for quite some time. The quality of work is also not that good. Appraisal and Variable Pay: I worked really hard to learn IID from scratch on my own and being the only Senior Associate, I mentored some newly hired Software Trainees as well. I am a good team player as well and never faced any escalation from Client side, still I got penny in the appraisal cycle and even my variable pay disbursement was not even close to 40% of my total variable of 45k. Team Structure: Think twice before joining Cognizant for an IBM BPM Developer profile, you may regret it later down the line. They are currently onboarding new graduate hires in the team only as a replacement for Senior Associates, so you might be the only resource who knows how to program in the team. Best of luck 🤞

Offer better salary compare to other service based company if you joining as lateral.

It is same as other service based company. you won't get promotion until you ask for it, no matter how you are performing, how much time you already spent.

Work culture is one thing where cts is average at. Compensation benefits lack as v.p will be good evry year. Learning is avarage too. Job security good. Managers rule and HRs don't.

It depends on project. But cts as a whole I don't have any dislikes excepts for very marginal hikes each year.
