1.Work Life based on Project, some UK projects means, really good for our timings, US projects will kill you. 2.FInance Team - Other than Insurance claim, Medically OP Claims you can claim upto 15K to 25K per year (Based on Band) and also Advance Salary request also will process early with in 3 or 5 days.

...hey all aged and passng time to save their lives by destroying others career. 5.Variable Pay and Appraisal - When i joined , at the time the variable pay was paid 100% for every 3 months. But past 1.5 years, they reduced it 60 to 80 % due to Wipro's disgusting performances in the market and no profit % in the past 2 years. Even that 60 to 80% variable pay also not paying correctly by 3 months once nowadays! They will decide one month and send mail before the month starts and you comes to know whether you going to get your varibale pay or not at that time only. Apprisal - dont expect much, much means more than 5% also much here for good performed guy! Outside people will say Wipro is 100% job secured company, good compansation company Blah,Blah, Blah like that. Yes it was till 2010 might be, but now its Drainage! Think and Decide before Joining WIPRO.

... promotions You are in danger zone if you are on bench. Bench period is 45 days. Then they put u on loss of pay

Working at Wipro for last 10 years without any problems and I have joined the MS study course for 4+ years which was excellent studying while working but salary or hike will make us disappointed as this is my first company.

Hike or salary component will not be standard as per market trend.

...sure when comparing to the company. It's purely related to projects and clients. We have to pay for the insurance premium here if we opt for it.

...cts, I really enjoyed working with Wipro. Processes and standards are very good. Work life balance and compensation benefits and shift allowance, cab facilities are awesome. WFH policy is very good. Likewise many more lot to say good about Wipro.

Dislikes

Wipro has very good clients and updated latest technologies to learn in the project. But everything in managers hand and getting release from existing project is haaard even after given period completion. Appraisal ratings and hikes are not given to the right people. Again this is based on project and people. Overall Wipro is best place to work and I suggest Wipro to friends indeed.
