Having worked at other startups before joining here, i can confidently say this place stands out. My previous experiences were often marred by chaotic management and lack of direction, but here, the environment is much more structured as well as the hustle. One of the key differences is the support system. At my previous startup, resources were often limited, and guidance was hard to come by. Here, the necessary resources and support are readily available, enabling us to tackle projects efficiently and confidently. Moreover, the work culture here is far more inclusive and collaborative. Firstly, I'm happy working here as compared to many other comments I see here. The company culture is open, you can speak your mind even to the founder and chro in their 1:1. The team is good and driven. The infrastructure is okay. While it might not be as flashy as some other startups, it is functional and meets the basic needs. Yubi has got a start and strong business foundation which is reflected in revenue numbers shared during town halls and slack. Not exactly as per plan but a good growth trajectory and they have controlled costs. They have even promised hikes/bonus this year as well as possible liquidity events in the new FY. While there are issues but most important is stability of org where even the best of startups have failed in recent times. Anyone working here and delivering results should feel confident in their long-term prospects with Yubi. Promotions and hikes are solely based on performance, not personal connections. No WFH, long commute time to work even in a city like Chennai is taxing. Frequent team/project realignments. Weekend work whenever there is a go live. There is liberty to few who perform well even once which might feel like favoritism.

I think, if they are expecting something from employees, they should be clear with their requirements and should consider investing in initiatives that would make it easy for employees to progress, Give us clarity on what skills you need us to focus on more that would be helpful for the company.

Below par salary, cheap labour, No/minimal increment, will promote and give you double work with a joke 15% hike. The company is gaming with the employees. No fixed working hours and still the HR team will cry for you to come to office and expect you to work post office hours late night as well. No extra pay for on call labour.

No one behaves rudely. " Results matter. What you do when given responsibility matters; this is how you can progress here. I have reached a designated role this way. So seniors and leaders value work ethics and hard work. no incentive to work overtime… Management should address queries immediately rather than delay. Not happy with salary increase this time.
