I am currently a BDE at a midsize IT company with 1.5 years of experience and my current CTC is 3.6 LPA (3+ 60k variable). I am actively looking for roles and want to relocate to Gurugram (currently based in a Tier 2 city). Based on my research of what the current market rates are and what my colleagues with similar exp. are getting in similar roles in NCR, I am expecting 6 - 6.5 LPA but the recruiters get shocked as if I am being delusional. Is this too much to ask for? and if not how do I negotiate ?
