I have worked previously in Hewlett Packard and Goldman Sachs. VMware would rank below Hewlett Packard in terms of everything.

I worked at VMware Software, Bengaluru for a brief period of 8 months as an Enterprise Support Engineer. While working here, you can expect a tremendous gain in skill, knowledge in some of the best and niche products being used in the current market. Training provided on demand. Good infrastructure, refreshments available, fun area,library & the opportunity to complete industry leading software certifications. Opportunities to serve the community, outings..in all a good place to start an IT career in virtualization and cloud (or a 2nd switch). Not really sure about other divisions....Read More

Dislikes

Success in a company depends a lot on your Manager. Some of the managers are a bit selfish as all they care about is targets, CSAT'S & buttering. I think that a lot of people here keep their knowledge to themselves. This can be improved! Also, the cab service & food quality (Cafeteria) at the office was poor. Job Security for contract workers is low.
