Horrible place overall. If u r lucky and u get a local onsite peoject like cisco or infinera then may be u can relax a bit coz u will be governed mainly by the clients work culture and not velankani. But in case u r unlucky which is most likely and u stay back to work at velankani... Cons8dered urself screwed and with 3 months notice period and ur skills deteriorating over time, be sure to get stuck here for the rest of ur life and again if u r lucky enuf to find urself another job, these mgmt guys will ensure that u face the most terrible days of ur life trying to move out of here !!! The policies here are pathetic, most things are hidden or not professional described or written. The mgmt people are dictators and the directorship of this company is the biggest flaw or hurdle in its success. And yes the most awful thing, If the client declares a holiday on a particular day, velankani ensures that the employee is forced to apply for a leave that day ... What kind of a ridiculous policy is that. Specially the car lease policy ... I took lease and used car for two months and they forgot to deduct the money .. well good for me i dint had to pay but imagine the finances....Read More

Well their clients cisco and infinera needs velankani contractors to do the dirty work that cisco and infinera employees would not prefer to do. Be assured that the intelligent work thy will keep to thenselves and will outsource donkeys job to contractors
