Managers supports employees who takes breaks with them. Bonus is distributed as per the position and not as per the work or potential. More emphasis on extra activities and participating in the fun activities organised by the team. Manipulation of the data presented to the stakeholders. Also trackers use for tracking daily activities are easily manipulated by manager's favourite employees and no concerns are raised for them. Awards and Recognitions are distributed as per favouritism and not as per the quality and efforts of the individual. Managers favourite employees gets cross trained in the activities but never perform that activities and on the basis of the term cross trained/ cross skilled they are promoted. Travelex is a highly professional organization to work for, I learnt key skills around foreign exchange management while working here. I enjoyed the learning experience that was provided by the different teams and knowledge from passengers crossing around the world I have worked for within this organization.

Dislikes

Travelex don’t actua promotes from within. It’s pretty much a dead end job and the hours given for overtime are so less. Perks aren’t that great or of any real benefit as most people don’t last for more than a year or 2 and move on.

Favouritism at the heights - even if the junior is working like a senior they will not consider your hard work. - you should be a Superman to never get I'll, not take emergency leaves. - roaster is prepared on their choice. Shifts are not promised. If they want to harass you they will call you in a constant shift with more workload. - bonus is of name sake. 75000 bonus but we get hardly 25k out of that. Coz our management has created their own KPI's like Unplanned leave, planned leaves, any escalations and they will start deducting your bonus. - worst and pathetic team management - even 3 leads cannot manage a team of 27 analyst - hardware and software are not updated - lack of coordination between leads - no action against their favorites. - they will start harrassing you if you escalate about their favorites. - own policies defined for project. - carelessness while making roaster, forget your holidays.
