No Job Security, Micro Management, Be aware before joining this company.
While it's common for startups to have high work pressure, this company takes it a step further by expecting employees to skip or delay lunch just to ensure tasks are completed. Nearly every assignment is marked as urgent and must be done "ASAP" creating a stressful work environment.
The most alarming issue is the company's inability or unwillingness to pay salaries. Being a low-funded startup, they sometimes fabricate reasons to withhold payment. In my case, they accused me of misconduct without any evidence and used it as an excuse to avoid paying me.
They haven’t paid my executive with some random reasons. Many ex-employees have left due to similar issues regarding non-payment and toxic work culture.
Additionally, requesting leave here is a frustrating experience. There's no formal system for it everything is handled manually, and leave requests can be rejected without a clear reason.
Moreover, you may be made to feel guilty for taking any time off. If you are planning to take an international trip, you won’t be able to. You won’t be able to take leave more than two days. Also, because of micro management, you will have to do lot of work which might be out of your job description. They will give you a reason “we are a small company” and expect you to do everything. If you are demanding money more than 40,000, they will say yes, but then they won’t pay. They will be good to you for at least three months, and then you will start seeing their real colours. My suggestion is not to fall prey for this company. They will speak very politely at the beginning, but later you will understand, you took a wrong decision joining this company.
The company's leadership, including the Director and HR, often play "good cop, bad cop," passing you back and forth without addressing your concerns directly. Their policies seem to change on a whim, making it difficult to know where you stand.
New employees are discouraged from interacting with former employees, likely because past staff would reveal the truth about the company's work culture and internal politics. If you're considering working here, proceed with caution.
These kinds of startups can be toxic, and I would advise potential employees to think twice before joining....Read More
