Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Tekki Fekki Tech: where the only thing they're more skilled at than tech problems is playing office politics! Their social media is a total facade - all smiles and rainbows, but trust me, it's a fake fest. Newbies, be warned: they'll strong-arm you into writing glowing reviews, because who needs genuine feedback, right? And don't even get me started on the 'inspirational' sign boards plastered everywhere, even in the bathrooms (because, you know, you might forget to not do 'this' or ' that' while washing your hands.) It's like being back in school, minus the homework (unless you count the constant surveillance). Yep, they've got a dedicated 'relationship police' to ensure you don't get too cozy with your coworkers.
