1. There was a sense of job security 2. It is a good company if you are a lateral employee and joined with a competent package, and in a good project/role 3. If you are lucky and get onsite, then it is a good company to work in

1. Very bad salaries compared to lateral employees, there were many lateral employee juniors earning twice my salary 2. Very less hike (Max is 8% for best band), my salary was getting increased monthly only by 500-1000 rupees, I didn't notice the difference in salary for about 5 years 3. Promotion is delayed too much, even if fully eligible, "pending with corporate" is a popular answer 4. Using Onsite as a carrot to get extra work done, they didn't raise visa also for me in ten years 5. Not releasing from bad project, and giving bad band if asking for release from project 6. Because I was stuck in the same project and same role for about 9 years, very slow progress in skills, I had to upskill a lot and struggled to get into a different company with a competent package for my experience 6.
