Work culture at TCS was pretty good for me a lot less stressful with all facilities available inside campus.

Growth is slow in terms of salary and learning. Sometimes you may excellent project opportunities for growth but chances of getting such projects is very low

Nothing I liked in TCS,corporate sector have professionalism but HR only don't have core object I didn't saw like this HR in my vast of experience.

It has low work load due to enough support staff and job is secure as TCS will never ask to leave unless there is a major policy violation.

No Appraisals. No Bonus. No management of Project. No proper Org Hierarchy. All Policies are Complex and Confusing. Internal project movement is near impossible. Promotion will be heard rarely. Lots of hidden charges. And the most important, you will never get salary given in offer letter, it will be short by around atleast 2 LPA or more than that only.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Level 4 person who isneely joined is asked to report under Level 3 person who is manager or leading team not bcoz of his expertise but bcoz he/she is tenure staff in the process and they were asked to lead as there was no one then...

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

Dislikes

Due to mass hiring you will find less skilled people around you. Feels like Freshers training is not up to mark. Other service based companies provides good training to freshers so that It makes them ready to work resources but here I worked with many freshers and feels like they are not trained well so not able to perform well in job.
