Nobody cares if you do a good job or a had job. You won't get fired for doing a bf job, you won't get promoted for doing a good job.

It's company culture is rotten. People at powerful position abuse their power in day to day operations, events and even hiring new people. Rest assured if you have come to Tata Power on your own and you don't know anyone there in a powerful position or you do not have anyone to look out for you, no matter how well you perform or how hard you work, you are interested big trouble.

Everything office politics, there is rampant sexuuuaaal harassment and ethical violations, money laundering but this company portrays an image that they have zero tolerance towards all thesw things. They treat their employees like servants with no basic human rights. This company harbours criminals and sexuuuaalll offendeeers

Firstly the compensation. I joined in tata power as a trainee. When the company first came to our college they had given the ctc break out for a package of 6.6+ other benefits. But when i actually joined the company they mentioned that the ctc was for p5 rating and that too after one year. For almost one year they paid every one equally no matter they did graduation or post graduation. They didn’t mention anything regarding housing but after we have joined they told they would deduct certain amount from our salary. And the worst part is laptop buy back they would buy a dell laptop of 30k range(on amazon or in market) and add some software and say it would be free of cost if we work there for 4 years. Else we need to buy back it. When it was time to buy back i had to pay about 50k for it. WHICH WAS ALSO NOT MENTIONED DURING INTERVIEW. The work culture is too bad.
