Tally is very good company if you want to have no family life or no work life balance.

I joined as a manager for North zone the expectation was to leave NCR on Monday for travel and come back on Friday. The expectation is not bad but after two years of regeros travel across seven states of North my health started deterating due to always eating food outside and as I was not having any option. Then there is new managerwho joined and the privious zonal head was thrown like anything despite giving approx 15 years to Tally. Now this new manager was not very happy with my health ask me to resign immediately as I am not fit for job. WOW!! He even ask me some monetary benefits if I want to extend the resignation. I can't write everything here but this is one of the oldest accounting company of India ?? and they keep on saying importance of honesty:-) . Before my final resignation the head ask me to travel and arrange meeting in Rajesthan, Punjab and Haryana. I spent approx 1.5 lacs INR for all the bills and same was reimbursed to me approx. 90 days after leaving the company multiple bills were not paid. I was on final week of leaving the company and the head was expecting me to pay all his and his subordinates bills which accounted for approx 1.5 Lacs offcourse it includes lavish stays, drinking alcohol , luxury travel and everything from a down the line employee who is very much below is rank !!...Read More

People like Joycee Ray have joined Tally to plan their retirement. No innovation, cut copy paste. All new launches are mostly failures. Politics to manage work. Meritocracy died several year ago. People who are close to Joycee get the important jobs around him, so that, his retirement stays intact. He was never a sales head before for a PAN india role. At best head of training’s and capability at Nokia. And where that company is now, we all know. Leadership has no connection with most reality at ground. Bushing around the problems. Not solving it, head on. That’s typically happen in such kind of cultural environment. The founding family has the best culture and ethics. They kinda have people who are taking advantage of it for many years.

Nothing much but training process is a bit long so as a fresher you won't be doing anything impactful for like 8-9 months. After this only you'd actually be making an impact.
